All of these questions, and many more, can be discussed during a free consultation. It is useful to have a basic understanding of what you'd like your finished design to achieve. If you have any existing design work or examples of imagery that appeals to you, bring it along. We can discuss all of these factors in depth together.
Who the heck are you?
I am a freelance designer based in Bridgwater, Somerset. I graduated from Falmouth University with a BA(hons) in graphic design and have since pursued a career in making people happy with designs that have personality.

Why should I hire your services?
If you like my portfolio, live locally and have a small budget then I can help you. As a freelancer, I work independently from home and do not need to charge high prices to cover large business costs. I'm fully qualified and use up-to-date software to create unique designs. I will never re-use your finished designs for any other client, pass on your information or sell you a final product that I am not personally happy with.
ABOUT THE DESIGN SERVICE
I would like a free consultation - How does it work?
Once you have decided what services you require, simply get in touch to organize a free consultation. We can email, chat or I can meet with you in your place of business or in a local public space. After the consultation I will confirm with you a price and deadline.
Once the price is agreed, the agreed price is then final. Any further requirements that fall outside the original quote will quoted for separately.
Do I need to bring anything to the consultation?
- Your contact information, preferably an email address.
- Any existing designs/inspiration/artwork/doodles you would like to discuss
Let's talk money.
After the consultation a price will be confirmed. 50% of this price will be expected upfront, before work starts. The remained 50% will be invoiced to the client upon project completion.
How do I make a payment?
I accept payments via paypal - my address is email@example.com
I also accept cash and cheques made out to Lucy H Hollidge
How quickly can I expect my finished designs?
A deadline will be agreed with you before work starts. Every effort will be made on my behalf to keep to this deadline. Efforts will be made to inform the client if this for any reason, deadline is unachievable. A rush fee will be applied if work is requested to be finished ahead of the previously agreed deadline. This fee will be negotiated before rush work is started. If you have a specific deadline get in touch to discuss your requirements.
How do I receive the final designs?
Full digital files will be emailed to the client once payment has been cleared.
Printed items can be posted to the client for a small p&p fee, or picked up in person for free.
What if I don't like the finished design?
With all projects you will be given the opportunity throughout the design process to voice your likes, dislikes and any worries. The price you pay also includes the opportunity for amendment(s).
